Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was considered to be one of the top athletes. The 2016 Olympics were held at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender to be awarded four gold medals. Biles also took home the world title for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles together with her siblings Adria Biles and Ronald Biles were adopted as young children by grandparents of Houston. Simone's interest in gymnastics began at age six, during a trip with her day care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained under Aimee Borman's coaching from 2011. Biles took home a medal for vaulting, and a bronze medal in floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin competing in elite levels of the sport. In less than two years, she had become the best in her sport. Biles's consistency, her exuberant nature and high degree of difficulty during her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise as well as floor exercises -- helped to set her apart.
